The most magical place to spend special time with loved ones. The sun shone, we enjoyed the outdoors, swam in the sea, cooked on fire, it was amazing - thank you so much.

The accommodation is in very good condition without being ‘posh’ in a way that you wouldn’t want your young children to touch. The stores of games were great. We were three generations - parents in the Barn and our two children and their families in each of the other buildings. 

Quite a unique and positive experience. The massive dining table in the Dairy was wonderful - we could have meal prep at one end whilst still having room for nine people to eat at the other.

The opening doors in the Dairy, in particular, created a connection with the outdoors which was much enjoyed.The swing was a highlight. The scope and ‘complexity’ of the grounds was hugely enjoyed. So many places to discover and different routes to take.  The direct access to the beach was much used.

In the evening we sat around the campfire in front of the buildings twice singing songs and eating food, burning driftwood from the beach. I found the BBQ easy to use and it was big enough to cook for nine. Took two bags of charcoal to cook food for nine. We will hope to revisit sometime.

Our week at Ty Coch was truly wonderful. It is such a beautiful place, with so many little details that make it magical. We swam every morning, we fished, we kite surfed, we made pizza, we walked for miles, we read all the interesting books that were dotted around the houses and played many board games around the big table. A place to nourish the body and mind (the shepherd’s hut is possibly the most tranquil place in the world) and to celebrate friendships and family.

The generous locally sourced hamper set the tone for our super stay. Views of the sea, sunsets and Anglesey coast from the property were very special and we loved walking in the landscaped private grounds with stream and shore. There is something magical about the site that entranced us all young and old. The Dairy easily accommodated our large family celebration and all the buildings were warm and very comfortable. Even in Welsh winter weather, there was lots to do outdoors in the area! We will be back. Thank you to the hosts for making all this possible.

Simply the most wonderful place to visit. The beautiful gardens, the lovely cottages, the wonderful sea views and the peace and quiet made for an idyllic break, for all our group.

Proximity to Snowdonia and other beautiful locations is great too. We have visited some fantastic places around the world, but have rarely been as sad to leave, as when we left Ty Coch.

It's no understatement to say that I am feeling bereft following our departure from Ty Coch. Perhaps I am missing the views out over the sea, the stunning sunsets, the evenings by the fire pit, family games of cricket, morning dips in the sea or the big communal dinners. What I do know with certainty is that this is an incredibly special place. We have all come home feeling infinitely more relaxed and rejuvenated, and know that we will absolutely return. We'll need to get in quick though - there's a reason this place books up way in advance!

You have made a piece of heaven!

We had three sunny swims……. everyone else saw puffins but me, but I did see a heron as big as an ostrich!  And the night sky!  Wow!!

When I first arrived I thought they were gonna still look old and STINK (no offence) but when I saw our lovely house I opened our doors and started cartwheeling around. We had bonfires every night it was so amazing I really didn’t want to go! The sea was amazing too, everything was amazing! (Except for when I lost my colour changing ring on the beach!). So thank you. Pat yourself on the back.
